Hello All,

I arrived to this Forum thru the page of Ishudan.

I have an iphone (jailbreaked with the installer.app
with apache, php, etc ...).

I'm looking for information on how to install Ishudan on the iphone.
The readme file was not very clear to me. Also, I'm not even sure
if the current version already runs on the iphone or what it does
and what is doesn't do ...

It would be terrific if Ishudan were available thru the Insaller.app
but I would invest time and effort to learn how to install it. If anyone
knows some reference, I'd be very grateful.

I have been dreaming of a Go client for the iphone to connect
to IGS or just to edit SGF files since I got my phone.
The touching of the screen is almost as if one is already playing Go.

"Dear Go Players!

[US Youth Go Championship]

The US Youth Go Championship will be held at the Seattle Go Center this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The schedule for the tournament is:

Saturday:

Rd 1 – 9:00 AM
Rd 2 – 11:30 AM
Rd 3 – 3:00 PM

Sunday:

Semifinals – 9:00 AM
Finals – 11:30 AM
Award Ceremony 3:00 PM

Sixteen of the strongest youth players in America will vie for the right to represent the US at this years World Youth Ing Championship held in Boston. This tournament will select the representative to both the Junior and Senior divisions.

If you can't attend the tournament in person, you will be able to watch the top 4 boards (2 from each division) on KGS in the Seattle Go Center room."

This sounds incredible! I think it's an amazing opportunity to live where I do and have IRL (in real life) access to places like the Seattle Go Center and the Go-playing population that is around here. I hope I have a chance to attend, but if not, I would most certainly recommend joining me in trying to watch online as it happens.

When making a post, choose an appropriate title. There's nothing more frustrating that looking for a topic and seeing vague entries. Create topic names like the second column, not the first:

"Help please" -> "What is Joseki"
"Need Help with Joseki" -> "Need help with a 3-4 joseki"
"Someone Read This" -> "Who wants to play a game?"
etc...
Be as descriptive as possible.

Reputation
Your reputation on this forum is a score that other members give you.
If you are an ass, users will vote you down.
If you are respectable, users will vote you up.

To vote a user up or down, do this:

1. Find the user in the forum
2. Click on his/her name (such as in a post) to view his/her profile
3. In the "[username] Forum Info" box, locate the field called "Reputation:"
4. Click "Vote"
5. In the pop-up box, add your vote and a comment telling why

Normal users can dish out +-1 vote points
Moderators can dish out up to +-2 vote points
Super Moderators can dish out up to +-3 vote points
Administrators can dish out up to +-3 vote points

So, moderators can make more of a difference than regular users. However, if a moderator sucks, it doesn't take too many regular users to show it.
